How to choose (model, side, rail type)

1. Find what broke. Empty and pull out the drawer. Check the rail on each side and, on two-drawer fridges, the center rail between the drawers. Snapped mounting tabs at the front are the most common failure.
2. Read the full fridge model from the label inside the fresh-food section (side wall or ceiling). Look it up on a parts diagram (shelf / drawer section) and copy the rail number.
3. Match the side. Left and right are mirror parts with different numbers. "Left" means left as you face the open fridge.

Are left and right rails the same part?

No. GE, Frigidaire, and Samsung sell mirror-image left and right rails under different numbers. Left means left as you face the open fridge.

Is WPW10671238 the same as WPW10326469?

No. Both are Whirlpool-family center rails, but they differ in length and fit different models. Use your model's parts diagram.

Why did my center rail snap?

The front mounting tab carries the weight of both drawers and the shelf above. Heavy produce and yanking the drawers is the usual cause, and replacement rails can fail the same way, so load drawers evenly.

Can I glue the old rail?

Some owners repair cracks with plastic epoxy or plastic welding, but a snapped load-bearing tab rarely holds long. A new rail is usually the reliable fix.
